Step 1 Access Tpm Management Tool

TPM Issue? Here's How to Check and Resolve it

Step 1: Access TPM Management Tool

In the Windows search bar, type "tpmmsc" without the quotation marks and select the top result to open the TPM Management tool.

Alternative Method:

Press "WIN + R" on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box. Type "tpmmsc" and hit OK or press Enter.

Step 2: Check TPM Status

Under "Security processor," select "Security processor details." This will show you whether your PC has a TPM chip and its current status.

Troubleshooting: "Compatible TPM Cannot be Found"

If you see this message, it means your PC may have a TPM chip but it is not enabled. To enable it, follow these additional steps:

  1. Go to "Start" > "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Windows Security" > "Device security."
  2. Under "Security processor," select "Security processor details."
  3. Click "Turn on the security processor."
  4. Follow any additional instructions on the screen.

Once the TPM chip is enabled, restart your PC and check again using the TPM Management tool.
